We all know when it comes to our home, we want everyone who enters to feel comfortable, warm and welcome. We also want it to reflect who we are and since we all have our own unique personality, shouldn’t your home say something special about you? If you’ve spent some time on my blog, you know I’m all about doing something a bit out of the ordinary. If you want to create a home that is uniquely you but want to do it on a budget, I can help!
Think you can’t afford and interior decorator? Think again!
I’ve decorated my whole house this way and if you have a vision in your head but can’t seem to create it in your home, or you’re looking to do something a bit different and on a budget, I can help. It’s not about spending a ton of money and going out and buying all new things. Of course, we can do that too, but we can also look at mixing some of your existing pieces either using them the way they are or by updating them with paint, moving things around your home or adding newly created pieces with DIY projects and thrift store finds. It’s all about personality and creating a home that is uniquely yours.
From small projects to multiple rooms, simple accessories to large pieces, I can help transform your home. Let’s face it, selling your home can be stressful and require more time than you actually have so doing it quickly is essential. Did you know that staged homes sell faster than those that are not staged??
In the book “Staging to Sell: The Secret to Selling Homes in a Down Market” author Barb Schwarz, The Creator of Home Staging®, shows the statistics that even in today’s slower housing market, 95% of Staged homes sell (on average) in 35 days or less. On the other hand, homes that are not Staged take 172 days or more to sell, if they sell at all. (realtor.org)
In addition, studies show that Staged homes sell for 2-10% more than non staged homes.
