Spring Home Tour 2026: Cozy Cottage Style with Collected Layers
A cozy cottage spring home tour 2026 full of thrifted finds and vintage charm.
There’s something about spring that invites a fresh start, but for our home, that doesn’t mean starting over. It means leaning into the relaxed cottage feel, layering in light, weaving in soft textures and letting pieces I’ve collected over time shine in a new way.
This year’s spring home tour is all about embracing a lived-in cottage style, where thrift store finds, vintage treasures and simple everyday pieces come together to create a space that feels both fresh and familiar.
A Cozy Cottage Living Room
This space is all about cozy neutral home decor. When you have a neutral base, it’s easy to add in simple seasonal touches and pops of color. I love all of my favorite shades of green with small touches of navy.

To make it flow, pull colors from one room into the other, like the navy pillow and throw blanket on the chair in the office.

I splurged on new throw pillows in the prettiest green hydrangea print. They work so well with the gingham plaid ones I had and the soft green linen pillow covers.

Decorating with Thrift Store Finds for a Collected Look.
For me, it’s all about vintage home decor styling. It’s those thrifted items that add one-of-a kind character you can’t get in a big box store that help to create your story. Things like the binoculars on the shelf and the funky vintage clock on the wall add interest and personality.
I picked up the large wooden shelf on the wall at a garage sale for $10. All it needed was a bit of TLC, a little sanding and some touch ups on the stain. I think the darker wood tone adds a bit of warmth to the space and plays off of the mirror in the entry as well as the crates.

These cottage style decorating ideas start with warm browns, creams and white. Start by adding in layer and texture from things like baskets and then add in faux florals for a bit of color.

Gallery Walls That Feel Collected Over Time
This is one of my favorite thrifted home decor ideas. You can never have too many frames because you can always change them out for the seasons. You can find my favorite digital prints on Etsy.

Thrifting tip: don’t be afraid to paint the frame or the mat! Simple craft paint is all you need to update the mats to match your decor. When you’re thrifting, always look for the frames that come with the mats.
Simple Spring Vignettes Using What You Already Have
This vignette is made up of things I already use to decorate with some spring florals added and I swapped out the digital prints.

Spring decorating ideas on a budget – use ribbon and inexpensive dishes to add color and texture.

As I wrap up this spring home tour 2026, I wanted to say that creating a cozy home isn’t about having everything perfectly styled, it’s bout layering pieces that you love and letting your home evolve over the seasons.

If there’s one thing I hope you take away from this tour, it’s that you don’t need to buy all new decor to refresh your home. Sometimes the most beautiful spaces come from reworking what you already have, adding a few simple touches and embracing those unexpected moments along the way.
Thank you so much for being here and walking through our home with me, it truly means the world.
Happy decorating!
